Business Sales Consultant

A dynamic organization requires a Business Sales Consultant at its Head Office to report directly to the Business Sales Manager. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with an outgoing personality and a mature attitude, capable of communicating confidently across all levels. Job Description
- Identify opportunities and drive new sales within the corporate sector (B2B).
- Draft and comprehend legally binding B2B contracts.
- Deliver solutions tailored to the Vehicle Fleet environment.
- Meet monthly and annual installation targets.
- Maintain, manage, and grow an existing customer database.
- Secure an average of 20% business from new customers and 80% from additional sales to existing clients.
- Provide exceptional service and support to both current and prospective customers.
- Handle and take ownership of all customer inquiries and requests.
- Maintain a management-defined level of product knowledge in IoT and Telematics, assessed through product evaluations.
- Deliver presentations to various stakeholders.
- Achieve activity levels set by management.
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports.
- Perform all administrative tasks related to the role, including creating and submitting quotations.
- Manage and respond to leads from internal and external partners within designated timeframes.
- Build and maintain relationships across business, dealer, broker, and fitment centre networks.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 years of sales experience in the B2B, IoT, or Telematics industry.
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- Completion of recognized formal sales training courses or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated history of meeting sales targets.
- Self-driven, solution-oriented, and passionate about sales.
- Valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle.
