Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Trainee Retail Manager. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for retail, a strong customer service mindset, and a desire to grow into a leadership role. You will be trained across all aspects of store operations, from stock control to team supervision, ensuring excellent service and smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily store operations, including staff supervision and shift planning

Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer queries/complaints efficiently

Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory

Support merchandising, promotional displays, and store layout according to brand standards

Ensure health, safety, and hygiene procedures are followed

Analyze sales reports and contribute ideas to improve store performance

Work closely with senior managers to learn retail management skills

Participate in regular training and development programs
Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12 (further qualifications in Retail Management or Business are an advantage)

12 years of retail or customer service experience (preferred)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced retail environment

Availability to work retail hours (weekends, holidays, and shifts)

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
