The Associate Project Manager is responsible for coordinating various aspects of power build projects, ensuring timely execution, and collaborating with cross functional teams to achieve project objectives, including coordinating power infrastructure development, as well as effectively managing contractors and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for power and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with teams to ensure the efficient execution of power and electrical build projects.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular status meetings with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure successful installation and connection of power and electrical connections to end-user premises.
- Troubleshoot and resolve activation-related issues, minimizing service disruption and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with network planners and engineers to develop comprehensive power and electrical deployment plans.
- Assist in evaluating the feasibility of new projects by conducting site surveys and feasibility studies.
- Contribute to the development of strategies for optimizing power and electrical network coverage, capacity, and performance.
- Assist in the selection of suitable technologies and equipment for power and electrical planning and deployment.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, addressing any concerns, questions, or requests for information.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, management, and external partners, facilitating collaboration and alignment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and risk assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive project status reports and presentations for management and stakeholders. Establish clear and effective communication channels with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in project management or similar, or a related field is a plus.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
- 3 + years proven experience in project management, preferably within the
- telecommunications industry.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of power and electricity and the
- respective components.
- Familiarity with power and electrical infrastructure and planning principles.
