Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced and dynamic Shift Managers to join our team in Philippi, Western Cape. As a Shift Manager, you will oversee operations within your designated shift, ensuring efficient management of staff and resources. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operations and management, with proven experience in employee relations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations within your shift, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and manage a team of employees, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and providing guidance.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee-related issues, including chairing disciplinary hearings, issuing warnings, and maintaining clear and effective communication with staff.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shift activities, incidents, and staff performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Must have a tertiary qualification, at least NQF Level 6.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in operations, including roles in security, cleaning, or warehouse management.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in management or supervisory positions.
    • Proven experience in employee relations, including handling disciplinary procedures and issuing warnings.
