Overview:

The purpose of the Junior Dealer Consultant is to act as a good brand ambassador to grow the AA Warranties market share by initiating, building and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships with motor dealers, increasing the number of supporting dealers and taking responsibility for stakeholder interactions throughout the process from sales to claims.

  • Matric

Experience and skills:

  • Prior experience in a B2B relationship management role is an advantage.
  • Prior knowledge and understanding of the dealer space and the various players within the industry is an advantage.
  • A strong bias for sales and relationship management.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Prospect for motor dealers in your area of responsibility with the goal of initiating, building and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships with these dealers.
      • Generate new sales with each dealer account and drive growth in sales volumes by assisting dealers to become more effective at selling VAPS and insurance.
      • Drive area sales and profit plans to budgeted targets through successful leadership, organisational plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of all field operations strategies, consistently across all dealerships.
      • Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and seek new potential clients.
      • Negotiate contracts with clients and establish a timeline of performance.
      • Collaborate with sales team to maximize profit by upselling or cross-selling.
      • Maintain in-depth product knowledge and educate customers about our products.
      • Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitor products that are prevalent in your area of responsibility.
      • Maintain an understanding of the claims process and train the associated workshops on our claims processes and procedures.
      • Understand and manage business by effectively using sales reports, assessing departmental results, and developing
        specific actions directly related to business development
        and growth consistently across all dealerships.
      • Seek feedback from our customers by interacting with the F&Is at the dealerships and observing shopping behavior's, and associate/customer experience.
      • Ensure that trends of underperformance of associated dealers are formally addressed.
      • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering timely and quality services.
      • Develop strong working relationships with potential clients for new business opportunities within the assigned area.
      • Maintain a strong product and competitive product knowledge of the industry.
      • Be able to create and maintain a structured call plan.
      • Educate dealership employees on their understanding of our product and its competitive benefits.
      • Manage Dealers sales, claims and loss ratios.
