We are looking for a skilled Fitter and Turner to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and machining components for stone crushers and conveyor systems, ensuring all parts meet precise specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fit mechanical components for stone crushers and conveyor systems.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, and other precision tools to fabricate and modify parts.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet design specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure efficiency.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to manufacture parts accurately.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults in equipment and components.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the workplace.

Requirements:

• Trade Certificate/Diploma in Fitting & Turning or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Fitter and Turner, preferably in heavy machinery manufacturing.
• Proficiency in using lathe machines, milling machines, and grinding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
