Job Description:
The primary responsibility is to generate new business through selling advertising solutions to prospective clients. The role also includes maintaining an existing portfolio, renewing accounts, and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications & Experience
- Matric (essential).
- Marketing diploma or degree (advantageous).
- Previous sales experience, preferably in advertising.
- Understanding of the freight industry.
Core Responsibilities
- Acquire new clients by selling advertising solutions.
- Identify and approach potential companies, understand their needs, and present relevant promotional options.
- Meet required prospecting and meeting activity targets.
- Maintain and grow the advertising spend of existing clients (includes a small renewal portfolio).
- Update the CRM system daily.
- Consistently achieve and exceed set sales targets.
- Attend client events and networking functions as required.
- Travel periodically within South Africa or regionally to engage clients.
- Liaise with internal teams regarding client matters where necessary.
- Follow up on outstanding advertising material alongside the ad-coordinator.
- Coordinate with the ad-coordinator regarding artwork and advertisement materials.
- Ensure all bookings and approvals for advertising are completed before publication.
- Adhere to advertising booking and submission deadlines.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct at all times.
- Uphold organisational values and personal presentation standards.
