Job Description:
Position: Site Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all on-site activities, including but not limited to, material and equipment deliveries, subcontractor work, and site personnel
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and timelines
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations
- Prepare and submit progress reports to project managers and clients
- Resolve any technical issues that may arise during construction
- Monitor and track project costs and progress, and make necessary adjustments to stay within budget and schedule
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and site personnel
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel when needed
- Keep accurate records of all on-site activities, including daily reports, material and equipment inventory, and project documentation
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project progress and any potential issues or concerns
Requirements:
-A bachelor's degree in engineering from a governmental university is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, as a Site Engineer
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Proficient in using construction software and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
