Job Description:

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • identify and source products to sell on our e-commerce platform, taking into account market trends, customer demand, and pricing strategies.
  • Analyze sales data to make informed purchasing decisions and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  • Collaborate and Maintain relationships with suppliers and monitor them performance to ensure timely delivery of products and to expand product categories.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities and to ensure the product mix meets the needs of our target customer.
  • Manage the inventory levels to ensure appropriate stock levels and product availability.



WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing/buyer/procurement, preferably in an e-commerce environment within a fashion/ready to wear industry.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions based on that data.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online merchandising strategies.
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English, French & Arabic is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office.
