Job Description:
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
- identify and source products to sell on our e-commerce platform, taking into account market trends, customer demand, and pricing strategies.
- Analyze sales data to make informed purchasing decisions and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
- Collaborate and Maintain relationships with suppliers and monitor them performance to ensure timely delivery of products and to expand product categories.
- Work closely with the marketing team to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities and to ensure the product mix meets the needs of our target customer.
- Manage the inventory levels to ensure appropriate stock levels and product availability.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing/buyer/procurement, preferably in an e-commerce environment within a fashion/ready to wear industry.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management and analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions based on that data.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online merchandising strategies.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English, French & Arabic is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of MS office.
