Job Description:

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced financial manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the group companies; including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting; as well as providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making by senior management and stakeholders. Their primary role is to ensure the groups financial health and stability by making sound financial decisions and implementing effective financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Conduct financial analysis and evaluate financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze key financial indicators, such as revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Present financial reports to management, shareholders, and other stakeholders.
  • Interpret financial data and communicate the results effectively to non-financial personnel.

Budgeting and Cost Management:

  • Develop and manage the organization's budgeting process.
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for improved cost efficiency.
  • Conduct financial analysis of proposed projects, investments, and business initiatives.

Risk Management and Internal Controls:

  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through appropriate risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial audits.

Financial Decision Support:

  • Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and expansion plans.
  • Evaluate the financial viability of new projects and investment opportunities.
  • Assess the financial impact of business decisions and propose alternatives when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required.
  • (*) PQE as a financial manager in the renewable energy field or any related fields.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Strong understanding of the industry and its unique financial requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software (i.e ERP systems, financial modeling tool, excel).
  • Knowledge of governmental, fiscal and local laws and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to details and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
