Job Description:

Position: Commercial Lead- Seeds

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Market Research Unit in defining market data requirements; and developing market data collection process and related templates.
  • Assess different markets data to understand dynamics and development potential; identify products / categories where Jubaili can compete and achieve leadership in line with adopted corporate strategy.
  • Define product offering, distribution channels and set pricing and discount policies (per product line, sales channel, customer category) for each country based on market conditions and commercial strategies for the total product range.
  • Set top down sales targets and market share per product (for product categories under responsibility) and proposed tools for sales support until reaching a consensus on common targets and budgets.
  • Ensure timely preparation and circulation of price lists following approval of marketing plan
  • Enforce implementation of policies via operations and country managers.
  • Define with Market Research Unit and operational teams data required to assess performance.
  • Receive and review market performance data.
  • Participate in S&OP meetings; analyze operating entities performance and review marketing plan including targets and pricing, and tactics accordingly.
  • Ensure with Marketing & Business Support Manager and operational teams that marketing communication plan and related initiatives are effectively implemented.
  • Ensure proper support of sales teams from Sales Development and support unit according to approved yearly plan.
  • Provide monthly-consolidated report on sales activities and margins.
  • Organize internal workshop to promote new products (features, specifications, application, and benefits) and provide technical guidance and knowledge to concerned departments and operating entities.
  • Provide Central Registration Coordinator with background information (technical, commercial) for new products registration files to be submitted to Ministries of Agriculture in related targeted markets.
  • Define with Technical & Trials Manager trials programs and protocols pertaining to products line under management; asses results
  • Develop procurement plan based on approved marketing plan, actual stock levels and estimated lead time for orders delivery.
  • Manage stocks by stock keeping unit (SKU) in close coordination with country managers

Requirements:

  • 10- 15 years of Experience in Seeds (Sales and Trail Stations)
  • Bachelor in Agriculture Engineering
