GlobalPay is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Leader to oversee the technical development and coordination of key fintech projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of complex tasks by guiding a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration, and maintaining alignment with organizational objectives.
Role Overview:
The Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of developers, testers, and other technical specialists. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management capabilities to ensure seamless development processes and timely delivery of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the technologies used within the payment gateway and mobile application domains.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the technology team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure applications.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and project success.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Ensure adherence to Agile development methodologies and best practices.
- Review and optimize code to ensure maintainability, performance, and security.
- Coordinate with other departments to address dependencies and resolve bottlenecks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong expertise in development tools and technologies such as Nest JS, React/Angular, Kafka, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in databases like MySQL, MongoDB, and Postgres, as well as cloud-based environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of payment gateway solutions and related compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and team collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Slack).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage team dynamics effectively.
