Job Description:
Position: Charter Head
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of charter Officers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service
- Coordinate all aspects of charter trips, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with clients and vendors
- Monitor and analyze charter performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and profitability
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of charter services with other company operations
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments, implementing best practices to enhance the charter experience for clients
- Prepare and present reports on charter performance to management
- Manage charter budget and expenses, working to optimize costs while maintaining high-quality service
- Handle any issues or concerns that may arise during charter trips, providing timely and effective solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in charter operations in Navigation Shipping is a must, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent in English
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and charter management software
- Willingness to travel as needed
