Oracle Fusion Finance Consultant


Job Description:

The Oracle Fusion Finance Consultants role is to elicit, analyze, specify, validate, and implement the business needs of project stakeholders. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements and configuring them in the system or conveying the same to the development team for custom development (if needed) throughout the implementation/support lifecycle. The Consultant must have an excellent background in Oracle Fusion Applications, proven communication skills, and analytical & problem-solving skills to provision the implementation, support, or development process. The consultant should ensure project deliverables are met according to Oracle Application Implementation standards.

Technical Skills:

  • Oracle Fusion Financials AP, AR, GL, CM and FA.
  • Experience: 6 - 8 Years of experience 
  • Good exposure in both implementation and support of fusion financials (at least 6 years). Also, should be experienced in Oracle Fusion Financial Reporting.
  • Implementation experience with major ERP vendors.
  • Facilitate and actively participate in all phases of the Implementation cycle, including Requirements Gathering & CRP & Analysis, System Design & Development, Testing, Implementation, and support.
  • Developing and adhering to engagement team project standards to ensure the delivery of quality deliverables.
  • Assist, coach, and mentor Project team members on issues they may encounter in the design and implementation of solutions.
  • Actively participate in the troubleshooting phase once the product has gone "live".
  • Gather and share the requirements, and use-cases to the designers/developers, and confirm a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
  • Configure and set up the Oracle Fusion applications following the Configuration Worksheets (usually CRP, test, and production instances).
  • Prepare and upload data collection sheets.
  • Provide support to the end users for day-to-day activities, as well as monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing.
  • Helping the technical team with New Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Personalization, and Views for any new requirement.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English; written & verbal.
  • Prepare and conduct Conference Room Pilots.
  • Prepare and provide training to employees, end-users, and super users.
  • Prepare and conduct the testing sessions for the Key/End-user.
  • Documentation for Requirement Gathering, Future Processes, Solution Design, UAT Test Scripts, User Manuals, Issue Logs, Status Updates and Setup documents.
  • Enhancing application as per Oracle Standards.
  • Must have at least 3 full cycle implementations for Oracle Fusion Applications with extensive experience in the financial modules - (GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management)
  • Expert in Implementation, Enhancement & Support activities for Oracle Fusion ERP.
  • Possess strong analytical skills, is highly meticulous, and someone who has an eye for details.
  • Creativity in resolving complex issues surrounding business processes and technical challenges.
  • Raise SR with Oracle and be able to coordinate on his own to resolve issues.
  • Experience with any service desk tool (preferably manage engine) to be able to pick, assign, and resolve tickets with proper details and effort as well as to create/manage change requests.

Note: Experience in Oracle Fusion Procurement (Self Service Procurement, Procurement, Supplier Portal, Supplier Qualification) and/or Oracle Enterprise Performance Management will be a big plus.
