Engineering Office Manager


Job Description:

Job Objective: -

To manage and coordinate all activities of the engineering office to ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering services, achieve organizational goals, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities/Duties: -

  1. Team Management: Recruit, train, and guide engineers and technicians to ensure excellent performance and achievement of the office's objectives.
  2. Planning and Organization: Develop strategic and operational plans for engineering projects and supervise workflow to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
  3. Proposal Preparation and Presentation: Prepare technical and financial proposals for projects and negotiate with clients and contractors.
  4. Quality Assurance: Ensure the implementation of quality and safety standards across all work and projects.
  5. Relationship Management: Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
  6. Resource Management: Organize and utilize human and material resources efficiently to achieve the offices goals.
  7. Reporting: Provide periodic reports on workflow, financial performance, and challenges faced by the office.
  8. Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to engineering standards, local and international regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or related field).
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in managing engineering offices or engineering projects.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills and team management ability.
  • Good knowledge of engineering software and project management tools.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver technical and financial proposals.
