Job Description:
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including but not limited to month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, ..etc.
* Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS) and IFRS if required.
* Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws, including income tax, VAT, and customs duties, particularly relevant due to machinery imports/exports.
* Lead annual budget preparation and periodic forecasting.
* Manage import/export documentation and taxation related to machinery and spare parts.
* Provide financial insights to support decisions on pricing, expansion, and investments.
* Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
* Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
* Coordinate and complete annual audits.
* Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
* Meet financial accounting objectives.
|Required Qualifications
* BSc degree in Accounting, or Finance from reputable universities.
* Proven working experience as Accounting Manager in commercial agencies related to import, export, and after-sales services not less than 10 years.
* Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software "Odoo, SAP", and databases.
* Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
* Excellent command in English language.
* Strong leadership skills.
* Strong numercal and analytical mindset.
* Strong Knowledge with taxe laws and it's implementation.
* Full awareness by financial rerprting in Arabic and English.
* CMA, IFRS certificate is a plus.
