Job Purpose:

SECC Consultants are a team of highly experienced, diversified, and knowledgeable experts that focuses on enhancing software and IT sectors in Egypt through several activities, including but not limited to diagnostic and pre-certification assessments, coaching, training, conducting workshops & webinars, etc. SECC consultants provide the consultation services with the purpose of helping SECC clients seize essential advantages, solve their toughest problems and capture their greatest opportunities. Consultants focus on helping solve client problems by offering both strategic and operational expertise.

The scope of SECC consultancy services focuses on 3 main pillars:

Software Engineering Consultation: deliver consultancy services to software development clients (such as Agile adoption, CMMI for development, Software Testing, etc.)

IT Service Management Consultation: Support IT service management clients in applying relative frameworks (such as ITIL, CMMI for services, etc.)

Digital Transformation: Manage & participate in large, complex client engagements related to Togaf, Cobit, AI, Data Management, etc.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Deliver and manage provision of SECCs consultation services to SECC clients with emphasis on organizational performance and process improvement

  • Manage and coach on large-scale transformation programs and projects

  • Identify, design, and implement creative solutions and services to help clients tackle critical issues

  • Participate in creating and building business opportunities and proposals

  • Develop relevant training materials and deliver related training courses

  • Participate in capacity building activities for department resources

  • Manage and implement projects for developing service-support products

  • Develop knowledge assets and participate in IT community events and talks


Education:

Bachelors degree in a relevant major with a preference for a Master in Computer Science / Engineering or a related field.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 15-year experience in Software and IT industry with proven experience in a Consulting environment working closely with IT industry clients.

  • Minimum 10-year experience in project management

  • Minimum 10-year experience in processes of software development and/or IT service management and in models, approaches, and frameworks such as CMMI, ITIL, Togaf, Cobit, Six Sigma, etc.
