Generic

  • Primary background/experience should be Siebel data specialist with hands on experience in data migration using PL/SQL (must have).
  • Arabic speaker is preferred. At least ability to understand Arabic alphabets/script to detect anomalies in data.
  • Maximum 30 days notice period please.
  • Strong knowledge in Siebel architecture.
  • In depth knowledge in Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager, good to have Siebel Configuration as well.
  • Experience in working large data migration activities sensitive data like demographic information of customers, addresses etc.
  • Good to have hands-on experience in Siebel public sector
  • Hands on handling Siebel Tools create custom tables, EIM tables, new columns, indexes etc.
  • Experience in handling databases like Oracle, MS SQL, and IBM DB2.
  • In- depth knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL in Oracle, MS SQL, and IBM DB2.
  • Experience working in multi lingual fast-paced environment.
  • Good to have BIP reports - OBIEE knowledge.
  • DB -Query tuning for performance and solve long running queries
  • Good understanding of ETL concepts.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Strong Knowledge in Siebel Architecture - Understand and be able to explain the architecture of the Siebel application, including its components and how they interact.

2. In-Depth Knowledge in Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM) - Work with Siebel EIM to import, export, and transform data between Siebel and external systems .Ensure data integrity and accuracy during integration activities.

3. Experience in Large Data Migration - Plan and execute large-scale data migration projects, especially focusing on sensitive customer data like demographic information and addresses.

4. Siebel Public Sector (Optional) - If applicable, work on Siebel public sector projects, which may involve specific configurations and integrations for government or public sector clients.

5. Hands-On Experience in Siebel Tools - Use Siebel Tools to customize and configure Siebel applications, including creating custom tables, EIM tables, new columns, and indexes.

6. Experience in Handling Databases - Work with various databases, including Oracle, MS SQL, and IBM DB2. Perform database administration tasks such as backups, restores, and maintenance.

7. In-Depth Knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL - Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries for database operations and data manipulation. Understand and apply best practices for database development.

8. Experience in a Multilingual Environment - Adapt to and work effectively in a fast-paced, multilingual environment, possibly dealing with clients and team members from different linguistic backgrounds.

9. Good to Have BIP Reports (OBIEE Knowledge) - If required, develop Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) reports and have knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).

10. Database Query Tuning -Identify and resolve performance issues related to database queries, optimizing them for efficiency. Monitor and fine-tune database performance as needed.

11. Understanding of ETL Concepts- Grasp the principles and concepts of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, which are often crucial for data integration and migration.
