Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CREATIVE DIRECTION AND CLIENT DELIVERY

  • Lead the creative direction across the business.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and goals, providing creative solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Develop and oversee the execution of design concepts, visuals and creative solutions to meet project objectives.
  • Create compelling narratives and presentations for clients, while pitching ideas.
  • Lead the creative team to generate and present concepts for client projects.
  • Review and approve designs, artwork, photography and graphics developed by the creative team.
  • Present design work to clients, both in-person and remotely, explaining design decisions and creative solutions.

BUDGET MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure design work is completed on time, on budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

LEADERSHIP

  • Foster a driven and harmonious environment across the team, enabling boundaries to be pushed and the best results to be achieved.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to the creative team, helping them to grow and develop their skills.

TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Hire, manage and develop the creative team.
  • Ensure the necessary environment for the creative team to deliver their best, providing continuous feedback and conducting performance reviews as and when required.

BUSINESS TRAVEL

  • Must be willing to travel to Saudi Arabia, Dubai and London as needed.
  • Expected to spend one week per month at a client site in Saudi Arabia.

TREND & MARKET AWARENESS

  • Stay up-to-date on AI, design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure STM remains at the forefront of the industry.

PERSON REQUIREMENTS / SPECIFICATION

  • A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years experience in a creative leadership role, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Proven portfolio with an outstanding range of work, all with rationale and evidence of the process behind them.
  • Strong creative vision and conceptual thinking.
  • Experience in managing design projects from concept to completion.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team of creatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate ideas.
  • Excellent eye for detail, consistency and accuracy.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to clearly articulate directions to creative teams and inspire clients.
  • Master in Adobe Creative Suite.
