Job Description:
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will support other teams in designing and preparing required drawings and documentation under the supervision of senior Engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or an early-career Engineer to gain hands-on experience and grow within a professional and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare mechanical technical drawings and documents using Revit and AutoCAD MEP software.
- Prepare and develop mechanical design and construction drawings for HVAC systems, plumbing systems, fire fighting systemsetc.
- Support engineers and Project Manager in managing multiple project phases, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met across all deliverables.
- Ensure that all designs and technical drawings comply with applicable mechanical codes and required standards.
- Prepare project documents and submit them to the relevant authorities.
- Coordinate efficiently with other multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency.
- Ability to prepare accurate quantity take-offs, schedules, and reports.
- Remain responsive to support projects' needs, including urgent tasks when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Power Department) from a recognized university.
- 1-2 years of professional experience.
- Good background in mechanical systems and installation for various types of buildings.
- Knowledge of MEP systems design principles, construction methods, building codes, and regulations.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Software skills: -
- Proficiency in MEP software like AutoCAD, Revit.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
