Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Specialist to support our financial operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial reporting and processes. The Finance Specialist will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, compliance, and contributing to strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and report on financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor expenditures and perform variance analysis to ensure alignment with budgets
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Assist in preparing tax filings, audits, and compliance reports
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks
