Job Description:

Position Objective

The Lead HVAC Design Engineer is a senior-level professional with 12 to 15 years of experience, responsible for the advanced analysis and design of HVAC engineering works for company projects.
In this leadership role, the incumbent will coordinate with the project team, provide technical expertise, and supervise a group of engineers to ensure the successful and timely completion of all design processes.

  • Senior Project HVAC Engineer

  • Project HVAC Engineer

  • HVAC Design Engineer

Education

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a reputable university with a strong academic record.

  • Membership in professional associations (preferably in Egypt) is an advantage.

Experience

  • 1215 years of proven experience in HVAC engineering design.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality engineering solutions on complex projects.

Contacts

  • Collaborates closely with department members.

  • Interacts with various departments within the Cairo office as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of complex HVAC design works in accordance with project schedules and departmental objectives.

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of engineers and draftsmen, providing technical guidance and mentorship.

  • Ensure high-quality design output, compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.

  • Undertake special assignments or projects as directed by the HVAC Head of Department or Senior Project HVAC Engineer.

  • Promote continuous improvement in design practices and project delivery efficiency.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of advanced HVAC design standards and codes.

  • Proficiency in software tools, including:

    • CAD software

    • REVIT

    • HAP (Hourly Analysis Program)

    • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines for complex projects.

  • Strong ability to interpret and analyze technical documentation.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels.

  • Capable of working under pressure and with minimal supervision.

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and documentation skills.

  • Commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and innovation.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
