Project Manager
Job Description:
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Design Project Manager oversees projects and ensures that are completed on time and
within budget and ensures all team members uphold the company's standards throughout
each project's development and execution. Design Projects Manager provides and enables
project prioritisation, management information, financial reporting, resource planning and
decision making.

- Project Managers .
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a reputable university.
A master's degree in engineering or related field is highly preferred.
Professional certifications in relevant design disciplines are advantageous.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 20 years of experience in design-related roles with a focus on engineering
disciplines.
up to date theoretical background in principles of PMO, Architectural engineering,
Mega projects & (modern) design practices with supervisory, site, Project Planning,
cost estimate & manpower estimate, value engineering, QA/QC, LEED, health, and
safety experience (Preferable). Including 10 years of lead responsibility.
CONTACTS
Contacts with his/her department members as well as other different department
members, project managers and clients as deemed necessary in Cairo and Jeddah
Offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO's strategy, responsibilities, services
and deliverables.
Monitor Program reporting and assist team in reporting to Senior Management and
stakeholders.
Prioritize tasks, set deadlines, and assign staff to various deliverables so that each
project can hit the ground running with minimal wasted time and resources.

Job Description
Analyze financial data as it pertains to each project. This includes the proper
distribution and allocation of resources, the implementation of budgets and the
quantification of monetary risk and impact.
Coordinate programs or projects involving department or cross-functional teams
focused on the delivery of projects and/or programs into a finished state.
Ensure thorough documentation of a project's creation and development and this may
involve reviewing and aiding in the writing of documents relating to a project's scope,
budget resources and justification.
Establish frameworks and standards for Program and Project Management. Manage
and compile program related financial and KPI information.
Track financial reporting while ensuring that the program and projects adhere to the
agreed budget.
Coordinate project closure to distil good practice and ensure lessons learned are logged.
Define and embed project control and governance.
Provide Project planning, Milestone management, Scope management, Resource
forecasting.
Financial Management; Change Management across the project portfolio.
QUALIFICTIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of computer assisted design software, Auto CAD, Word, and Excel REVIT
& Primavera is a must.
Knowledge of other software, such as: presentation and animation software and M.S.
Office packages.
Project Management Certificate, PMP is preferred.
Excellent communication and team-player skills.
Self-motivated individual with proven ability to work independently, and on multiple
initiatives at the same time.
Demonstrated knowledge of project management techniques, tools, and
methodologies, covering all phases of the project lifecycle.
Excellent time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; proven aptitude for
communicating effectively with a variety of audiences.
Ability to effectively influence and communicate with all levels of management and
project stakeholders .
Proficient in English.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is generally performed in a standard office environment.
Overtime may be necessary as workload's dictate. This may include weekdays,
weekends and/or holidays.
Willingness to travel as required.
