Sales account manager


Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, target, and approach potential new clients in relevant industries.

  • Generate qualified leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and digital outreach.

  • Present and promote the companys engineering solutions to prospective clients.

  • Understand client needs and propose tailored technical solutions in collaboration with the engineering team.

  • Build a robust sales pipeline and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing.

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand presence.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.

  • Provide market feedback to help shape product/service offerings and sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in an engineering, Construction, or technical environment.

  • Proven track record of successful new client acquisition.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tracking.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling to Construction.

  • Technical background or understanding of engineering solutions/products.
