Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Engineering from reputable university with a good

grade, a post-graduation degree, technical publications, and member of professional bodies

in Egypt and/or elsewhere.

Experience

From 9-15 years of Experience in Landscape projects with updated theoretical background

in (modern) design practices & manpower estimate, value engineering, Quality policy,

Quality Assurance and Document Control requirements.

Contacts

Contacts with his department members as well as other different department members,

project managers and clients as deemed necessary in Cairo and Jeddah Offices.

Responsibilities

Familiar to all projects running by his Team members such as projects components, time

schedules, mile stones and design phases with necessary plans and condition.

To be familiar with his team member's capabilities and to suggest training programs to

improve the staff performance.

Solve the design problems/ conflict.

Review and approve the technical quality of all work performed within the department.

Monitor and maintain the application of the Quality policy in the department.

Prepare the technical specifications for the construction materials that used in the
project as per the latest update in CSI standards and coordinate this with Specs
department
Review the Bill of Quantities prepared for the project and participate with the BOQ
department in pricing and meeting with the material suppliers.
Responsible for the annual evaluation for his team members.
Perform any task of his sub-ordinates when necessary.
Act as (HOD) in case of his absence.
Estimates the man-hours of Landscape department and preparing the technical &
financial offers new proposal as per the company strategy
Prepares the Basis of Design report (BODR) which summarized the used systems in wet
utilities networks to be approved by the client \ authorities.
Evaluates and analysis the Bidders of any project.
Continuous self-development, research & training.
Ability to prepare and conduct presentation.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of computer assisted design software, Auto CAD, Word and Excel is a must.
Comprehensive Knowledge of codes and regulation governing the Landscape works.
Knowledge of modern and complex principles and practices of Landscape engineering in
order to design and design review, in its quick form and analytical form.
Ability to listen with creative problem solving skills.
Ability to understand the organization's goals, plans, objectives and work load priorities.
Ability to establish and maintain working relations with other Departments/Heads and
Subordinates.
Ability to accomplish tasks timely and with minimal supervision.
