Architecture Technical Office Engineer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review architectural shop drawings and technical drawings.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material calculations.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP disciplines.
- Prepare technical submittals, material submittals, and other project documentation.
- Review and resolve technical issues related to architectural works.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams to ensure proper implementation of approved drawings.
- Assist in preparing RFIs, method statements, and technical reports when required.
- Ensure drawings and technical documents are updated according to project requirements and revisions.
- Follow up on drawing approvals and technical submissions.
- Support the project team in resolving discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, approvals, and technical documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in an architectural technical office role.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of architectural drawings, construction details, and materials.
- Experience with shop drawings, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and technical submittals.
- Ability to read and interpret project specifications and drawings.
- Good coordination skills with site, engineering, and project teams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other architectural software is an advantage.
