Architecture Technical Office Engineer

 Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review architectural shop drawings and technical drawings.
  • Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material calculations.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP disciplines.
  • Prepare technical submittals, material submittals, and other project documentation.
  • Review and resolve technical issues related to architectural works.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and project teams to ensure proper implementation of approved drawings.
  • Assist in preparing RFIs, method statements, and technical reports when required.
  • Ensure drawings and technical documents are updated according to project requirements and revisions.
  • Follow up on drawing approvals and technical submissions.
  • Support the project team in resolving discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
  • Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, approvals, and technical documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in an architectural technical office role.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Good understanding of architectural drawings, construction details, and materials.
  • Experience with shop drawings, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and technical submittals.
  • Ability to read and interpret project specifications and drawings.
  • Good coordination skills with site, engineering, and project teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other architectural software is an advantage.
