Sales Manager (Payroll)
Job Description:
The role holder is responsible for supporting effectively business development and sales operations for payroll by developing the sales strategy and identifying, originating and pursuing new business opportunities to enable achievement of customer acquisition, market share, revenue and profit targets. The role holder is also responsible to support for developing and maintaining healthy relationships with a network of key clients, championing and driving the implementation of sales and customer care initiatives to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service.
- Implement the business plans for the Value Centre, and support to do designs distinctive value creating agendas to promote and sell payroll products and solutions that meet the needs of existing and prospective clients in order to improve the banks market share and ensure achievement of sales targets and objectives
- Support to assist a large portfolio of clients to provide on-going assistance and existing portfolio of clients and new clients in order to increase the number of clients and the wallet shares of existing ones
- Conduct sales efforts commensurate with market opportunity to generate new clients, while maintaining and expanding existing profitable client relationships
- Ensures clients are matched to the appropriate payroll product/solution in order to maximise revenues and ensure that customers are satisfied with the service that they receive
- Works closely with DVCGM for the sales process from client opportunity planning, client meetings, proposal preparation and negotiation, and deal closing in order to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service
- Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information that meet the needs of existing and prospective clients in order to improve the banks market share and ensure achievement of sales targets and objectives.
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, and through researching and recommending new opportunities.
- Works closely with and provides guidance to the sales team throughout the sales process from client opportunity planning, client meetings, proposal presentation and negotiation, and ultimately deal closing ensuring an efficient process.
- Maintains sales efforts commensurate with market opportunity to generate new clients, while maintaining and expanding existing profitable client relationships.
- Establishes close working relationships and partnerships with internal stakeholders in other Departments and Value Centres to maximise cross-selling opportunities and better serve client needs.
Solves problems faced by the clients in line with prescribed procedures, policies and controls. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed to achieve the defined goals
Job Requirement
- Minimum 2-5 years working experience (preferred in HR network/ Banking experience/background)
- Proficient in English language
- Strong Teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills
- Skilled in Microsoft office
- Willing to work overtime, when needed, to complete the jobs in time and in good results
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Be willing to travel and meet new people.
- Have good understanding of technology and its application
- Have high self-motivation to succeed
