Senior Network Engineer

 Job Description:

Senior Network Engineers are responsible for day-to-day operation of Data Center and branch networks availability, security and performance.

  • Designing, Implementing and administering Intranet, Extranet, Local Area Network, Wide Area Network.
  • Assist to budget planning and recruitment, Project Management, Coordination.
  • Work with all levels of staff within and outside of Technology Function and external organization.
  • Architect, Designing, implementing, managing network equipment.
  • Maximize the network services availability and minimize the service disruptions.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, load balancers and Data Centre Network to maximize network efficiency and security
  • Troubleshooting, resolving the network problems and managing the vendor, local system integrator to identify the potential issues
  • Maintain configurations database integrity and up-to-date
  • Regular patching and updates as per schedule
  • Solid understanding of Cloud network components / concepts
  • Review and approve network and firewall change within internal and vendor
  • Implementing data, network security measures for Multi-cloud architecture
  • Lead / Manage / Coordinate projects to deliver on time with periodic status reports to management.
  • Update Operation Documentation (technical, CMDB, etc)
  • Monitor the tier 3 escalated issue and report to meet the vendor, service providers SLA.
  • Product and new technologies evaluation
  • Vendor / Supplier sourcing, procuring network equipment, network communication links
  • Work with vendors, consultants to ensure the desired level of requirements
  • Prepare Project Acquisition Requisitions, Root Cause Analysis
  • Developing network security and related procedures
  • Willing to work in extended hours and perform standby duty after office hour

Requirements

  • Prefer certified network professional in CISCO (CCNP/CCIE), Next Generation Firewalls

  • 5+ years of experience in Medium/Large enterprise networks.
  • Strong understanding of network hardware and technologies
  • Project Management and Coordination
  • MPLS, DPLC, BGP, VXLAN, SAN, QoS, VLAN, STP, NAT, DHCP, Static, Dynamic routing, VPC, SDN domain
  • Implementing Threat Preventions, Intrusion detection prevention system
  • Network Function Virtualization
  • Multi-Cloud connectivity environment
