Senior Digital Banking Software Engineer
Job Description:
The responsibility of the candidate is to support the Team Head in the successful execution of replacing KBZ Bank's Digital Banking Platform, including all their integration touch points into relevant internal and external systems. This will involve supporting the current BAU activities and also managing upgrade projects. The role holder must also be a good team player and must be ready to accept new challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thoroughly understand Digital channel application architecture.
- To be involved in the Front end and/or the backend development of the application.
- Participate in the BAU (Business as usual) activities and support the same.
- Analyze and understand the business requirements.
- Assist in creating a development plan based on the business need and adhere to the same.
- Proactively manage workload and delegate tasks amongst the juniors.
- Provide Post Production support.
- Share KBZs vision in building a world-class agile technology organization.
- Ensure that the assigned tasks/projects are completed within the budget and agreed timeline.
- Assist, take ownership of providing a seamless and best-in-class customer experience, and strive to improve the same time to time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years of experience in the technical domain.
- Hands-on experience in HTML5, JavaScript, REST API, and JSON.
- Must have technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Java, Spring (Ecosystem), JavaScript, Git, and RDBMS.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practice and DevOps.
Additional weightage for knowledge of Angular, AWS, Software design patterns, NoSQL, and Docker.
