Business Analyst (Core Banking)
Job Description:
Business Analyst needs to manage and participate in the planning, system analysis and requirement, design, integration and testing, training, implementation for a Project and BAU. The role holder also needs to assist business team for operation and maintenance.
Description
- Communicate with internal stakeholders from business and functional departments and external stakeholders to understand the requirements for a product / process system.
- Analyse and evaluate current system process, interfaces and workflow and recommend changes and enhancement to improve business operation.
- Consider the opportunity and potential risk for the impact of changes.
- Prepare the required documentation such as System Specification, Functional Specification and User manual in English.
- Coordinate with in house developers / third party vendors and business departments efficiently.
- Product setup and Parameterization in the core banking system.
- Conduct functional testing and participate in System Integration testing and cooperate with business team for User Acceptance testing if the application system meets business goals.
- Support all necessary End-User training and go-live activities in Production.
- Post implementation support to ensure the stable running of the new Product or new Platform.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelors degree/ Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field
Minimum working experience in Financial institution - For Senior Position 3+ years
- For Junior Position 1+ year
- Good understanding of the process of Core banking and Digital channels including Origination processes.
- Experience on Flexcube and Temenos Infinity will be added advantage
- Excellent communication skill and presentation skill (verbal and written )
- Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Independent and able to work with minimal supervision
