HR Officer _ C&B
Job Description:
The role is handling interpreting and maintaining HR policies, tracking HR projects, assisting in implementing new policies and initiating organizational processes.
- Provide Compensation and Benefits (C&B) Team with technical assistance in various HR-related projects and initiatives which includes interpreting and maintaining HR policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist in the tracking and implementation of HR projects and new policies. Work closely with the HR team to ensure the successful execution of initiatives and the seamless integration of new policies within the organization.
- Provide support to the line Manager in the utilization and implementation of new SMART HR features. Stay updated on technological advancements in HR and contribute to the enhancement of HR processes through innovative solutions.
- Analyse user requirements, to prepare detailed functional specifications and related documents
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) such as problem resolution, tracking, escalation, and closure.
- Execute implementation activities and support post-implementation.
- Prepare and Review business scenarios and test scripting to align with the requirements.
- Support clarification from the testing team on the test plans and during test execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to write Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for HR-related projects. Clearly articulate cross-functional teams' needs, objectives, and requirements to ensure successful project outcomes within the deadline.
- Define the opportunities for process improvement within the HR function. Streamline and optimize existing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
- Collaborate with the line Manager to support performance management programs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Comprehensive understanding of their specific industry
- Knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations, and legislation
- Deadline focused
- Ability to investigate issues and find solutions
- Honesty and integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer skills including, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to track test issues and report on test results.
- The position needs verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a project team.
