About the Role
You’ll be responsible for handling residential property transactions from instruction through to completion. You’ll liaise with clients, lenders and other stakeholders, carry out searches, draft and review transfers and contracts, monitor the progress of each file to ensure deadlines are met and act as a trusted adviser throughout. You’ll also ensure compliance with the firm’s quality standards and accreditationS and help maintain the smooth running of the conveyancing team.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Key Duties
Manage your own caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
Prepare contracts, transfers, SDLT forms, liaise with lenders and ensure all searches are carried out and clear.
Keep clients and third-parties updated throughout each transaction, ensuring clarity and transparency.
Ensure the firm’s compliance with conveyancing accreditation standards and internal quality controls.
Work collaboratively with colleagues (e.g., paralegals, administrative support) to maximise efficiency.
Spot-check and manage risks or delays, and proactively raise issues to maintain momentum towards completion.
Participate in continuous improvement of processes, help refine templates and contribute to efficient workflow.
Key Requirements
Qualified Conveyancer or Solicitor with significant experience in residential conveyancing.
Proven track record of handling purchases, sales, remortgages and ideally right-to-buy transactions.
Excellent communication skills: you’ll be dealing directly with clients and other stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, able to draft and review legal documentation accurately.
Organised and self-motivated: you’ll be owning your workload and driving those files to completion.
Comfortable with technology and case-management systems; ability to keep clear matter progress notes and meet deadlines.
Professional attitude, client-focussed, and aligned with a firm that values service, reputation and integrity.
May be asked to assist in Wills and Probate cases, so any experience in this area will be helpful but not a struct requirement
