Overview from Your Legal Recruitment Partner
We are working closely with a growing and reputable law firm based in Oldham, assisting them in the search for a capable and committed Personal Injury Solicitor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, tight-knit team with genuine opportunities for progression and growth.
My client is preparing for a significant shift in how litigation is handled internally. With litigation files now being moved from fee earners to solicitors, they are looking for someone who can confidently manage a caseload and support the team during this transitional phase. Youll be stepping into a well-established department with an existing team of paralegals, admin support, and another qualified solicitor already in place.
The Role
You will be managing a caseload of approximately 120130 litigated Personal Injury files,
primarily consisting of:
-
OIC (Official Injury Claim)
-
MOJ (Ministry of Justice) portal cases
-
Part 7 litigation files
You will take ownership of files that progress to litigation and be expected to handle them independently, from inception to conclusion. Given the firms expansion plans, this role will evolve and grow making it ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their legal career.
What Were Looking For
-
2-3 years PQE in Personal Injury litigation (ideally RTA-focused)
-
Strong command of written and spoken English
Proven ability to manage time and meet deadlines consistently
-
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a diverse team
-
Adaptable and forward-thinking, especially with a planned office move and department growth in sight
Why This Firm?
-
Well-established team with a collaborative and supportive environment
-
Free on-site parking
-
Pension scheme and statutory holiday entitlement
-
Casual staff social events (team lunches, outings, etc.)
-
Clear progression pathway as the firm grows both the PI and Conveyancing departments
