We’re searching for a sharp, detail-focused Paralegal to join a respected criminal and regulatory law firm based in South East London. About the role:
This role will see you supporting the firm’s solicitors across a variety of legal areas, including criminal defence, regulatory, and professional discipline cases. You’ll be working within the Private department preparing bundles, taking statements, drafting documents, liaising with clients and courts, and generally helping cases move forward smoothly. There’s a strong emphasis on working closely with the owner of the businessso it’s an excellent opportunity to sharpen your legal skills and build hands-on experience in meaningful work.

Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm
Hybrid working is available following probation.
Key duties:
Drafting legal documents, statements, and correspondence
Preparing case bundles and reviewing evidence
Liaising with clients, courts, counsel, and third parties
Assisting with legal research and note-taking
Supporting solicitors during case preparation and hearings
Key requirements:
Previous experience as a Paralegal, ideally within criminal, regulatory, or litigation areas
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
Comfortable handling sensitive or challenging subject matter
A genuine interest in criminal and regulatory law
