Job Title: Vehicle Mechanic
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000

We’re on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Vehicle Mechanic to join a well-established, family-run garage in Walsall. This is your chance to work with a company that takes pride in providing excellent service and high-quality workmanship in a friendly and professional environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of makes and models, giving you a chance to apply your skills and continue growing as a mechanic. Your expertise will be essential in helping the garage maintain its reputation for reliability and trustworthiness.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
No weekend work, giving you a great work-life balance.
Key Duties:
Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and MOT preparation.
Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and best practices.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers are informed and confident in the work being done on their vehicles.
Key Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
Proven experience as a mechanic, ideally in a busy garage setting.
Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues.
A full UK driving licence.
A proactive and customer-focused attitude.
