Job Title: Drylining Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

Salary: Up to £52,000 DOE

Location: Telford and surrounding areas

About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of dry lining projects, ensuring that costs are tracked and controlled throughout the duration of each job. You will be involved in everything from estimating and take-offs to month-end evaluations, providing valuable insights that help drive the success of each project. Your role will involve a combination of office work and visiting various sites.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Combination of office work and site based (as required)

Key Duties


  • Dry lining quantity surveying

  • Keeping track of project costs from start to finish

  • Estimating and conducting take-offs

  • Tracking and managing live projects

  • Month-end evaluations

  • Providing detailed financial reports and cost analysis

  • The ability to use estimating software and fluent in Microsoft excel


Key Requirements


  • Access to a vehicle for site visits

  • Experience in dry lining quantity surveying

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Drivers licence

  • Strong estimating and take-off skills

  • Ability to manage multiple live projects

  • CSCS Card required for site access
