About the role
This is a hands-on position with broad exposure across commercial, residential, education, heritage, and retail projects. Youll be involved in everything from condition surveys and party wall matters to contract administration and technical reporting. Its varied, collaborative, and ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering work thats both technically sound and genuinely useful to clients.
Youll be joining a growing team of surveyors who are practical, supportive, and knowledgeable, all contributing to a portfolio of interesting projects across the South of England.

Working hours
Monday to Friday
8:30-5:00
Key duties
Conducting condition surveys, building pathology reports, and defect analysis
Managing projects across a variety of sectors, from initial brief through to completion
Handling Party Wall matters and advising clients accordingly
Preparing schedules of work, specifications, and contract documentation
Liaising directly with clients, contractors, and consultants
Providing technical advice in line with RICS standards
Prepare and negotiate Dilapidations and advise the client accordingly
Key requirements
A minimum of 3 years experience in a Building Surveyor role
RICS qualification (or working towards chartered status)
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and standards
Confident managing projects independently and client-facing responsibilities
Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once without compromising on quality
A full UK driving licence
