About the Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that mechanical systems in commercial buildings are running smoothly and efficiently. You'll be providing reactive and preventative maintenance services, troubleshooting issues, and carrying out repairs on a wide variety of mechanical equipment, including HVAC, pumps, motors, and ventilation systems. Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM
  • Enjoy your weekends off and a healthy work-life balance, with the flexibility of using a company van to get you to and from your work sites.

Key Duties

  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical systems within commercial properties.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and more.
  • Perform installation work as required for mechanical systems and components.
  • Assist with system inspections, servicing, and testing to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and any issues encountered.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers when required.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Solid experience in commercial mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and related mechanical equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Full UK driving license and the ability to travel across London.
  • Must have own hand tools.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
