Salary: £40,000 - £43,000

About the Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HGVs to ensure they are in optimal condition. Youll be working in a well equipped, clean and friendly workshop with the latest diagnostic tools and technology. The role requires a strong focus on ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with industry standards.

Our client is a leading commercial vehicle service provider in the North-West, known for their expertise in ABS and EBS braking systems. They have a longstanding reputation for reliability, integrity, and technical excellence. Their fully equipped Warrington workshop serves as a hub for fleet owners and operators, ensuring vehicles are kept in peak condition.

Working Hours

This is a shift-based role working a weekly rotating Monday to Friday shift pattern, with shifts from 6:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 -22:00 with a 20.00 finish on the Friday late shift. We require the applicant to be prepared to work alternate Saturday mornings at an enhanced pay rate.

Key Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs & Trailers

Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.

Conduct safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT.

Maintain detailed electronic records of all work carried out.

Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery. 

Key Requirements

Proven experience as an HGV Technician or equivalent qualifications Strong HGV Mechanical Knowledge

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
