Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

Working Hours

This role offers a 5-day working week, aligning with typical hospitality industry hours. Flexibility is essential, as evenings, weekends, and bank holidays will be part of the working schedule to meet the needs of the bustling establishment.

Key Duties

  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes consistently

  • Develop and design innovative menus, incorporating seasonal and locally sourced ingredients

  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control

  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

  • Monitor and manage food costs to maintain budgetary requirements

  • Ensure exceptional presentation and quality of all dishes served

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume, quality-focused establishment

  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team

  • Exceptional culinary skills with a creative flair for menu development

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing kitchen budgets
