About the Role

Were seeking an experienced CNC Machinist who can set up and operate CNC milling machines to carry out a range of tasks such as drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting. Youll interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure each job meets exacting standards, while selecting and installing the right tools for each project. With the chance to program machines using CAM/CAD software, you'll make the necessary adjustments to guarantee optimal performance. Whether you're monitoring operations or performing routine maintenance, you'll play a key role in delivering quality precision-engineered components.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am 4:30 pm

Friday: 7:30 am 12:30 pm

Optional night shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 pm 6:00 am

Key Duties

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform tasks like drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting

  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for each job

  • Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and other accessories

  • Program machines using CAM/CAD software, adjusting variables for speed, feed, and performance

  • Monitor machines during operation to detect any deviations or malfunctions

  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of machines


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency in setting up, programming, and operating CNC milling machines

  • In-depth knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, and CAM/CAD software

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
