My client is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a renowned establishment in Buckinghamshire. This role offers the chance to showcase your creativity and culinary expertise, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu development to staff training.

Nestled in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, this establishment prides itself on using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients to craft memorable dining experiences for guests. With a history spanning over 250 years, it offers a unique blend of traditional charm and modern culinary excellence.

Working Hours:

  • 5 days a week

  • Split shifts

Key Duties:

  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect the establishment's high standards.

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Manage kitchen staff, providing training and mentorship to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.

  • Monitor stock levels and manage orders to minimise waste and control costs.

  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a high-quality dining environment.

  • Exceptional culinary skills with a strong understanding of contemporary and traditional cuisine.

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.

  • Passion for using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients.
