Job Title: Self-Employed Consultant Conveyancing Solicitor​

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Pro-Rata)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a consultant conveyancing solicitor to manage residential and commercial property transactions. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work independently while benefiting from the support of an established firm. Your expertise will guide clients through the conveyancing process, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions.​

Their areas of expertise include commercial litigation, debt recovery, wills, probate, personal injury claims, and criminal defence.

Working Hours

  • Full-Time
  • Monday - Friday, 10:00-15:00

  • 2-3 days a week, 9:00-17:30

Key Duties

  • Managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions.

  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.

  • Conducting property searches, preparing contracts, and reviewing title deeds.

  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.

  • Providing exceptional client care and maintaining the firms high standards of service.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with a valid SRA certificate.​

  • Experience in conveyancing.​

  • Strong understanding of current property law and regulations.​

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.​

  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively.
