Sales Support Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum + commission

As a Sales Support Engineer, you’ll be a vital link between the sales team and their clients, providing technical support to ensure smooth project execution. You will work closely with their team to promote and integrate their cutting-edge IoT platform into client solutions. Your role will include everything from project management to troubleshooting and developing long-term client relationships.

Working Hours:

  • Flexible, but a minimum of 40 hours per week is expected.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Resellers, Solutions Providers and Consultants to identify and implement new project opportunities, driving subscriptions sales for the platform.

  • Develop and energise a network of resellers and consultants to increase the market penetration of the software subscriptions.

  • Monitor the competitive landscape within assigned regions, adapting strategies to ensure sufficient sales volume and healthy profit margins.

  • Cultivate and expand relationships with key accounts to sustain and grow business opportunities.

  • Manage projects to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.


Experience

  • A degree in Software Engineering or a related field is expected to fully grasp the technical aspects of this role.

  • Time spent with TypeScript and JavaScript is desirable.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a software engineering role is essential.

  • Strong sales skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to adapt to multiple personalities.

  • The ability to multitask with great organisational skills.

  • Experience in SaaS sales and subscription management is beneficial.
