Job Title: Specialist Engineer
Location: Kent (with frequent travel to client sites)
Salary: £40,000 £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Overtime + Bonus Scheme
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM 4:30 PM (with overtime and on-call required)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Specialist Engineer to join a growing team that provides high-quality temporary HVAC solutions across the UK. This role will be based in Kent and will involve the installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial temporary boilers and air-cooled chillers, as well as assisting with modifying existing pipework in plant rooms.
Youll be working alongside a supportive team of engineers while taking the lead on key projects.
Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain commercial temporary boilers and air-cooled chillers

Modify existing pipework within plant rooms as required

Support with fault-finding on chilled water systems, AHUs, and air-cooled chillers

Work on commercial boilers (forced draft burners) using natural gas and oil

Oversee and guide other engineers on projects

Participate in the on-call rota to support emergency requirements outside of standard working hours
Requirements

Experience in commercial mechanical pipework, boiler rooms, and systems

Knowledge of commercial LTHW systems

Strong understanding of electrical services and control wiring

Commercial Gas Safe certification (essential)

F-Gas Refrigeration certificate (essential)

Full UK Driving Licence (clean)

Based locally to Kent depot

Flexible with working hours and able to attend call-outs

DBS check will be required

Boiler Management System (BMS) experience (preferred)
