Job Description:

A highly respected Bristol-based law firm with a strong national client base is looking to appoint two experienced Residential Property Solicitors (or equivalent) to join its thriving conveyancing team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for talented property law professionals with a proven track record in Shared Ownership transactions to take on a role offering both high-quality work and long-term career stability within a supportive, professional environment.

The Role

The firm acts extensively for clients purchasing, selling, and staircasing Shared Ownership properties across England & Wales, in addition to handling a broad range of traditional residential conveyancing matters.

You will manage your own caseload of property transactions from instruction through to completion, with particular emphasis on:

  • Shared ownership purchases, staircasing, and resales;

  • Reviewing and negotiating housing association documentation and new-build packs;

  • Advising clients on leasehold structures, ground rents, and service charges;

  • Liaising confidently with lenders, housing associations, and management companies;

  • Providing clear, empathetic advice to first-time buyers navigating the Shared Ownership process.

About You

We are seeking organised, detail-oriented professionals who can deliver an exceptional client experience while managing a busy, varied caseload.

You will ideally be:

  • A Solicitor, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 3 years experience in residential property;

  • Skilled in handling Shared Ownership and leasehold transactions from start to finish;

  • Familiar with housing association requirements and new-build developments;

  • A confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;

  • Highly organised, proactive, and committed to delivering quality legal work efficiently.
