About the Role
As a Mobile Telematics Engineer, you'll be the on-the-ground expert responsible for installing telematic devices into vehicles. This role goes beyond the technical know-how; it requires a personable and customer-focused approach as youll be interacting directly with clients, representing the high standards they expect. From wiring and configuring devices to ensuring seamless connectivity, youll play a central role in making sure every installation meets the highest quality and reliability standards. Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 45-hour working week with flexibility for travel.
Key Duties
- Carrying out the installation of telematic devices in various vehicles, ensuring quality and reliability at each site
- Regular travel to client sites, interacting with customers and providing on-site support where needed
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues to ensure smooth functionality of all installed systems
Maintaining accurate records of installations, reporting any challenges or improvements that can be made
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with a focus on telematics or automotive installations
- Team player with excellent customer interaction skills, comfortable working on-site with clients
- Full UK driving licenceTravel with some nights away is expected depending on workload requirements.
