About the job Database Administrator
The Database Administrator role is responsible for managing and optimizing integrations between our customer-facing applications and various third-party systems, including a Headless CMS. With no pre-existing processes in place, this role is tasked with building integration, update, and data parity processes from the ground up. The Platform Ops will ensure that all integrations remain up-to-date, changes are migrated seamlessly between environments (such as maintaining data parity between staging and production), and that these systems continuously support our operational and customer experience objectives. This position operates within a hybrid work environment, and candidates must be based in Thailand.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Process Development
Design, document, and implement robust processes for integrating with third-party applications and systems.
- Data Parity & Migration Management
Ensure that data remains consistent and synchronized between staging and production environments (e.g., Headless CMS data parity). - Change and Update Oversight
Monitor and manage updates or changes in integrated systems, ensuring smooth migrations and minimal disruption to operations. - Continuous Improvement & Automation
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the overall integration framework. - Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with cross-functional teams (web, mobile, DevOps) and external vendors to coordinate integration efforts and resolve issues.
Job Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in platform operations, systems integration, or process development, preferably in a digital environment.
- Proven experience in building integration processes from scratch, managing API connections, and ensuring data synchronization across systems.
- Familiarity with headless CMS platforms and data migration strategies is a plus.
- Experience working in agile teams within a hybrid work setup; applicants must be based in Thailand.
Training/License/Certification
- Relevant technical certifications or training in integration platforms, API management, or related fields are advantageous.
