Role Overview

We are representing a fast-growing UAV and surveillance technology solutions provider working across the UAE, GCC, and Africa. The company is seeking a Solution Engineer Public Safety to design and implement integrated solutions involving drones, CCTV, command systems, and AI-enabled surveillance.

This role requires a strong blend of technical know-how (Linux, coding, system integration) and domain knowledge in public safety, law enforcement, or emergency response technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy public safety use cases involving drones, CCTV, thermal imaging, and integrated monitoring platforms
• Configure and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, servers, and networked devices
• Collaborate with product, sales, and operations teams to develop customized client solutions
• Write basic scripts or integrations to connect UAV platforms with third-party safety systems
• Conduct live demonstrations, pilot projects, and field implementations for government or security sector clients
• Deliver technical documentation, solution proposals, and post-sales support
• Stay current with trends in emergency response technology, UAV command centers, and surveillance analytics

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics, or related technical field
• 1-3 years of experience in a public safety, surveillance, or system integration environment
• Proficiency in Linux OS, system administration, and coding/scripting (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Hands-on experience working with CCTV systems, drones, command centers, or integrated security platforms
• Familiarity with networking protocols, real-time video feeds, and IoT security hardware
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical needs into scalable field solutions
