Vacancy: Purchasing Officer
Location: Paramaribo Zuid

Are you an experienced purchasing professional with strong negotiation skills and a strategic mindset? Do you have a solid background in international procurement and supplier management? We're looking for a Purchasing Officer who can source quality products and materials globally, under the best terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate with international suppliers on pricing, quality, and reliability
Manage and optimize supplier contracts and databases
Conduct supplier evaluations and competitive analyses
Coordinate import processes and logistics
Develop purchasing strategies and contribute to long-term planning
Support inventory efficiency and process optimization

What Were Looking For:
HBO degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field
35 years of experience in international purchasing
Knowledge of import procedures and customs is a plus
Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Experience in supplier management and contract handling
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Exact is a plus
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
